March Takeover!

Hi All
Looks like you have to put up with me for the next Month!
When Rob first asked me to do the blog for March, I really wasn't sure I was the best person for the job as I am now coming to the end of my weight loss goals. Then I thought about it... for like 2 seconds.... and I was like 'HELL YEAH, I AM WELL UP FOR THIS'! - how good I'm going to be at it mind, I don't know! I have never done anything like this before.
A little about me for those who have not known me for long - I have been on my weight loss journey now for 10 years! I first started loosing weight when I was 17 years old. I started weight watchers, weighing in at 210lbs (15 stone) I lost a bit of weight with weight watchers but then struggled to get any further than that so I joined slimming world where I went on to lose more weight and reach my target which I set myself, and stayed there for 4 years. I did no exercise at all when I started loosing weight until I had my dogs. I started walking as the dogs were very lively and needed to be walked. I then started a local Zumba class which I absolutely loved!! I begun with just 1/2 classes a week which soon turned into 4/5 classes a week! I then joined another local fitness company for about a year and a half before I found New Beginnings fitness. My first weigh in at New Beginnings Fitness was 167.5lbs (11 st 10 lb)  in December 2013. Today I weigh 133 lbs (9 st 7 lb) I have learned so much on my journey and I look forward to sharing it with you all over this month.
I have decided to do it in the form of an actual blog (though I have no idea if it is even going to work!) so I can do it throughout the day, save it, edit it, add pictures and then share with you all when I'm done.
Throughout the month I will try and share with you some memorable moments of my journey, some good, some bad which I am sure most of you will be able to relate to. My main mission for March is to share with you some healthy, nutritious, easy and tasty meal ideas to prove to you that eating healthy is not boring or complicated.

So let start with today!
Today, I knew I was going to be having a lie-in, which really doesn't happen very often, so last night I popped some porridge in the slow cooker and cooked it overnight so we could just wake up and dish it out.
