Day #13


Happy Friday 13th!

A mug of warm water, lemon and apple cider vinegar it was for me this morning!
 

BREAKFAST 11AM -(to complete my 2nd day fast)


Quaker 'Big Bowl' Oats
250ml of alpro almond milk

a teaspoon of honey

No snack today as breakfast was quite late so it was straight onto my lunch.
 
LUNCH 2PM
Morrisons rainbow salad (1/2 a pack) - 40 calories
150g beetroot - 62 calories
100g Princes tuna in spring water - 105 Calories
20ml soy sauce -18 Calories
10ml Sweet chilli sauce - 22 calories
247 CALORIES
 
4.30pm 150g carrot sticks - 60 calories with 50g of cottage cheese - 46 calories

DINNER 8PM
TURKEY MEATBALLS & 'COURGETTI'
 
For this I used
2 X 500g Turkey mince (2 for £4 in Morrisons) - 1380 calories
400g Mushrooms - 104 calories
2 cups of onions chopped - 134 calories
2 eggs - 140 calories
140g tin of tomato puree - 120 calories
400g can of chopped tomatoes with garlic and chilli - 100 calories
Herbs and spices
1978 calories
This will all get split into 5 equal portions  - 395 calories each
 
 
 
 
 
Last night I combined all the turkey mince with any herbs and spices I fancied - Paprika, cayenne pepper, chilli flakes, garlic and oregano.
I rolled into about 33 Meatballs and left in the fridge overnight.
This morning, I browned off the onions and mushrooms and popped in the slow cooker with the tomato puree and tin tomatoes.
I browned off the meatballs in the oven for about 10 minutes than added them to the sauce in the slow cooker.
Crockpot on low for 8 hours.
We had it with my 'Courgetti' - 1 Courgette sliced and cut into thin strips like spaghetti - 20 calories
 
DINNER 415 CALORIES
 
It tasted outstanding!!!... Even if I do say so myself!
